OYS win new Formula Marine contracts

OYS were recently awarded two new rigging projects from Dutch sparbuilders, Formula Marine BV. The projects in question involve the supply of full rigging systems for Cecilia II, a 52m ketch currently under construction in Shanghai, China and Roxane, a 42m ketch currently under construction in Istanbul, Turkey.

Upon receiving the orders, OYS Commercial Director, Wayne Shatwell said:

“Having already worked on a number of smaller projects for the French arm of the Formula Marine group, we are very excited to now be working with Formula Marine BV on both Cecilia II and Roxane, as Superyacht rod rigging has always been our niche. Formula Marine are clearly carving out a niche in their own market, despite some very strong, established competition, so these are very exciting times and we hope to extend our relationship with the Formula Marine Group for many years to come.”
