Lloyds and ABS Approval for OYS Thrusters

Two different OYS designed swing thrusters were awarded Lloyds’ and ABS approval this week. Inspectors from both classification societies surveyed the standard OYS design and manufacturing process before both awarding certificates.

OYS Director of Thrusters, Ian Crowden said: “It’s a testament to the OYS design team when two of the highest regarded classification societies can approve our designs with little or no modification from standard. Clear proof that OYS designs are built to last.”
