PBO RIGGING

Since it's introduction in 1998, PBO (Zylon) fibre has, with its extreme modulus and strength, been widely recognised as the synthetic fibre that has the potential to replace steel rigging in high performance yachts.

At 20% of the weight of steel, the benefits are obvious, but until now they have remained tantalisingly close but often frustratingly out of reach. Now, a convenient, flexible and cost effective termination technology has been developed to get the best out of PBO.
